2017, marble, gold leaf, 65 × 65 cm
This work recalls my first creation when I first encountered sculpture. When I entered college to study sculpture formally, I chose stone as the medium for my first work, and as a beginner, I solidly and clumsily hammeredout a round egg.
The second time I used stone as material, without hesitation, Idecided to fry the initial egg. Once again, feeling the force of the hammer on the stone chisel, listening to the sound of each blow on the stone.
